The Famous Guacamole
Updated: Dec 31, 2017

Is a party ever truly complete if it’s missing a bowl of guacamole? In my eyes, it’s an essential snack for any party. It’s become an expected and much anticipated snack at all our parties - it’s always a huge hit! I brought this guacamole recipe to a Cinco de Mayo potluck event at work and after only 5 minutes, I kid you not, the big container of guacamole I placed among the rest of the food disappeared. I watched multiple people going back trying to scrape the last bit from the container; it was comical how determined they were to have some more. It was quite the hit, to the point where people joked I should email the entire company the recipe because everyone was talking about it. It takes no more than 10 minutes to whip this up, it’s super simple, healthy and a guaranteed hit!
Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
3 avocados
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup cherry tomatoes
1 lime
Cilantro
Salt to taste
Olive oil
Instructions:
To cut the avocados, run a knife around the avocado (from top to bottom) and twist in half. Pull out and discard the seed. Using a spoon, remove the flesh and place the avocados into a medium sized bowl. Add salt and a dash of olive oil.
Mince the garlic or use a garlic presser to add to the guacamole. Mash the avocados and stir all ingredients together.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in cubes and add to the guacamole.
Cut the lime in half and squeeze both halves into the bowl with the avocado.
Garnish with some fresh cilantro.
Enjoy with some organic chips!
