Fried Tofu Kale Salad

As someone who is not really a big fan of tofu, I was surprised just how much I enjoyed it when Daniel came up with this salad idea on a busy evening. It’s not that I don’t like tofu, honestly to me, it just doesn’t really have a taste, but marinating it with paprika and cumin makes the world of a difference - I love the spicy kick! We’ve been having a lot of busy evenings lately, so preparing quick salad bowls like this one has been a lifesaver!

Just 3 main ingredients kale, tofu and bell peppers with the help of some olive oil, paprika, cumin, lime juice and salt and pepper.


  1. Marinate the tofu with paprika, cumin, olive oil, salt and pepper in a Ziploc bag, shake it and let is marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. You can even prepare it the night before.

  2. Wash the kale. Cut the bell peppers. Place in a bowl and sprinkle olive oil and lime juice.

  3. Fry the tofu on medium high heat with olive oil until golden brown. Add on top of the salad and enjoy.
