Berry Bliss Breakfast Bowl
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We hear that expression often, but many of us are guilty of ignoring it and continuing to skip breakfast. While both Daniel and I know eating breakfast is important, we’ll be the first to admit that on most days all we have in the morning is our cup of coffee. Our first meal of the day is often lunch.
With a start of a new year, we’ve decided to make eating breakfast a new goal for 2018.
Eating a nutritious breakfast sets the tone for the day and promotes weight maintenance and weight loss by maintaining blood glucose levels and your metabolism. It provides the body and brain with fuel after an overnight fast - that’s where the name originates, breaking the fast! Without breakfast you are essentially running on empty.
Eating breakfast for me is tough, not only because it’s hard to find the time before work, but I prefer sweet over savoury, which usually results into a choice that isn’t too healthy.
In order to meet our new year resolution, Daniel’s committed to figuring out easy, simple breakfast recipes we’ll both like. His first breakfast bowl for 2018 is this delicious Berry Bliss Breakfast Bowl. I’m a huge fan of any breakfast with fruits and I’m obsessed with this bowl. I hope you guys like it as much as I do!
